3 steps to a hand finished frame

First start by sanding down the wood, then cut and pin the frame together ( always use strong wood glue and leave at least 3-4 hours to dry)

Then if you need to, fill the top and side edges with wood filler, and sand down so it becomes a moulded frame with no visible joints.

After the stain is dry, you can seal the frame with sanding sealer, which is left on for an hour and then rubbed down with steel wool.

Then to finish off the frame you give it 2 coats of wax, and then buff the frame to give it the shine
